Cee has been missing classes. Mentor 2's successful gospel musician has shared that she regrets not getting an education because she is too busy being a singer. She said: "I dropped out of school to concentrate on singing but I forgot all about journalism when my music career took off." Cee also said that Emma Morrison wanted her to join a course but then she chose fame instead.
Cee says she’s really trying her best to promote her music in Africa as an independent artist, but that it’s hard to find the platform to make it happen because most people don’t understand how independent artists work. It’s hard for people who haven’t done a lot of research about the industry to understand what it means for a musician like Cee to not sign onto big labels, and sometimes she wishes other Africans could more easily grasp why she prefers independence and support what she does rather than focusing on what they imagine is missing from her musical career.
