According to Dada Kwaku Duah, "lots of people go to church because of joblessness."Ghanaian highlife artist Dada Kwaku Duah popularly known as Dada KD has opined that the job is filled with jobless people and not the rich. Speaking on Link TV's Across Africa (program), he said: "The only time they do is to go and praise ***." The famed musician thinks that church was made for broken-hearted and emotional people who are truly willing to be redeemed by Christ in a manner that comes with a life-changing experience.
It is rare to see rich people in church. If they are, their goal is usually to do right by *** and their community rather than presentation motives such as impressing the ghostly overseer who typically resides within the temple they attend. "I believe rich people always win in terms of giving," says Kyei Dada speaking with Onua Fm. He goes on to say that, although churches are frequented throughout Ghana, our piety isn't reflected in how we treat each other as humans.
