Kevin Hart says Will Smith is in ‘a better space’ after Oscars slap.

Just a few days after the Oscars, Chris Rock was on Tom Joyner’s radio show with his pal, Evin Hart. Evin joked about how Will Smith slapped him hard at the Oscars even though they are friends: “I thought he was just trying to get my attention, like, ‘What’s up?’ But [the next day] I had a palm print on my *** and I was like, ‘Ohhhh … that shut me up. You know what it was? All the black women that were around me were like, ‘He didn't like what you said last night.' And I'm like, 'What'd I say?' And [they're] like: 'You know what you said. Don't play with us ... he knows who you are.'" Talk show host Tom Joyner remarked: "The brand of comedy is what I call 'no filter,' and then of course you try to cross over into Hollywood where they have a very clear filter." The three comedians laughed off the incident, knowing that it wasn't serious and that they would probably all be working together again soon enough!

“People are human and as humans sometimes we make mistakes. So it’s not about talking about the past, it’s about acknowledging the present and doing your best to move forward.”

The comedian added: “I can get only hope that the two of them find a way to find some solace in that and move past it…

I still love him. In fact, I just saw him again at the concert last week and we’re going to go onto the next tour together after this one. I mean, come on – you can't judge a guy by one thing if he made an honest mistake. So many things happen in life and people change, it's just that now we have some downtime while they're working on new material so why don't I give Chris a chance to grow during this time before I make any decisions?

Things went well enough on the first day, however on day two, Scott said her worst nightmare came true.
